The Delete Data Page

Use the Delete Data page to delete attribute data from the version you select. This process will remove all of the objects you select from the hierarchy.

Depending on your security settings, you may not be able to access or use this page.

Delete Data

Deleting data is done on an object to object basis. Follow the steps below to select objects from your hierarchy, and delete the data associated with them.

  1. Select a context from the Context drop-down menu in the Context/Report Selection pane.
  2. Select the version that contains the objects you wish to delete using the Version drop-down menu in the Hierarchy/Version Selection pane
  3. Click image to expand or minimize.

  4. (Optional) use the Attribute Groups drop-down menu to select an attribute group. Only the attributes included in the group you select will be displayed in the Display pane.
  5. Use the hierarchy to select the objects you wish to delete and then click on a level of your hierarchy to add them to the Display pane.
  6. Click image to expand or minimize.

    Use caution when deleting data. This process cannot be undone.
  7. Once you have selected the objects you want to delete, click the Delete button to start the process.
  8. You will be prompted with a message to confirm the action. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
  9. A delete data job will be created. Monitor the progress of the job on The Job Results Page.
